Barcelona break-away

A return to Barcelona after quite a few years (22) from a visit during the Olympics it was great to see the changes and how much (more) of a cosmopolitan city this is – and to see a roof on the Sagrada Familia !

Culture, food, drinks, sights and people all did not disappoint and a great opportunity to test out all sorts of food with Hannah. From the creative and curious combinations at Restauant Montiel in the Born district to a range of tapas and pinxos, paella in the port, chilled beach food at Agua in Barceloneta / Port Olympic, great vistas at the Mirador (with cable car) we must have tested most fish, fowl and fiend !
