A few days relaxing around Table Mountain and exploring the delights of Cape Town and it’s surrounds. Glorious sunshine on Table Mountain, although there were occasional cloudy snaps rolling across the table-top and showing how treacherous a place it can get when the weather turns. Retreating to the delights of the Cellars Hohenort hotel with it’s acclaimed Greenhouse restaurant ( Tripadvisor link )

Cellars HohenortAs well as the regular sights, the sight of a colony of penguins chattering on the beaches is not what many people expect. Boulders Bay, outside Simon’s Town on the way from Cape Town to Cape Point is home to a sizeable breeding colony and rightly a South African National reserve.
