Hollywood fun in the sun

A few days in the California sun to tour Southern California with a trip to Los Angeles and on for wine tasting around Los Olivos, including the obligatory ‘coon-hat wine tasting at Fess Parker Vineyard. Then to watch the sunset in Death Valley, flight over the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas.

A few places to have in mind for travels
– drop into the Hotel Bel Air for a wonderful secluded break – and a chance to see some of the Hollywood movers and shakers (a great night on the piano by TC after a great rendition by Linda Perry of her song “Beautiful” … later of Aguilera fame)
– stop into Nobu Malibu – she sells sushi on the sea shore … and that’s before the sake kicks in !
– stay in the middle of Death Valley at Furnace Creek Inn – the Resort is also fun , a bit more village feel but the Inn gives you more remote experience and the pool deck is ideal for stargazing after watching the sunset on the nearby Mesquite Dunes
– Of course there has to be a bit of Vegas and the Wind Dancer sunset tour from Maverick Helicopters is well worth it and saves many hours in a dusty bus getting there !
