Summertime on the Cote d’Azur

After the historic and cultural highlights of the Cathar castles and fairytale beauty of Carcassonne, the sunny beaches, turquoise waters, charming mountain villages as well as mega-yachts and great fun people watching makes the Cote d’Azur a great place to visit. This snap taken from the dunes by the infamous Club 55 on the Ramatuelle beach behind Saint Tropez.

Also a very chilled stay in the boutique Dune Hotel just outside the craziness of Saint Tropez. Only a few rooms with a single storey, New England beach lodge feel and a couple of pools to unwind.
